This program is designed to replace a standard desktop adding machine/calculator, allowing 10-key touch number entry. Use it for high-speed adding and subtracting of numbers. How it works: Entry is the same as on a desktop adding machine. Enter the number first, then press either add (+) or subtract (-). (Multiply and divide don't work yet.) The Enter key on the keypad acts as the + button on an adding machine. Pressing clear (Num Lock) clears the current entry. Pressing = totals the tape, and the tape will clear the next time you enter a number. Pressing + or - without entering a number also totals the tape. Use the Info button to toggle between floating and +2 decimal operation.

Currently there are 54 DV channels available through VF1 online and new channels being added as they become available. It's like having a small screen television right on your desktop. The VF1 is a widget that at its current version, allows you to change channels and turn the VF1 to its 'Off' state. To turn it to its 'On' state, simple open the side menu panel, scroll to locate a selection, click the channel, then sit back and watch. This new version includes full screen on all RealPlayer channels only. To activate the Widget Television in FullScreen mode, simply choose one of the RealPlayer channels from the channel list, and after the station completely loads click on the television screen to activate it. Future updates will include FullScreen mode for the other two video players as well. The channel list now includes icon links to the left of the channel name and will link to the channel's website where (most of the websites have this option) a program schedule is available. The VF1 uses all three major streaming video players; QuickTime, RealPlayer, and Media Player. To watch broadband television with the VF1, you must have the players installed prior to utilizing the widget. If desired, you can download the DevMode widget from DashboardWidgets.com. Once installed, the DevMode widget allows you to move the VF1 to the desktop, instead of the Dashboard, allowing you to continue watching TV while you do something else.
